For nearly 50 years, this mansion sat abandoned, a shadow of its former self. Dust covered everything, water leaks damaged the interiors, and it seemed on the brink of collapse. But a dedicated rehab project saved it, preserving its unique, abandoned charm while restoring its structure. Today, it’s a stunning event space.

This beautifully revitalized venue now hosts a wide range of events, from art exhibitions and cultural presentations to fashion shows and private celebrations like weddings and birthday parties. The mansion’s mix of historic allure and modern functionality makes it an enchanting setting for any occasion.

Parts of the mansion still whisper stories of its past, with decaying wood, peeling paint, and glassless windows adding to its character. As you wander through its maze-like corridors and dim rooms, you’ll find faded wallpaper and graffiti left by those who once sought refuge here. These historical remnants create a unique atmosphere, making the mansion not just a venue, but a living museum of its own history.

Originally built in 1899, the mansion once belonged to engineer Robles Gil, who served as the governor of Jalisco in 1911. Its design, inspired by neoclassical architect Manuel Tolsá, reflects the grandeur of that era. Situated in a neighborhood once famous for its exquisite homes, the mansion adds to its historical significance. In 1913, this area saw one of the bloodiest episodes of the Mexican Revolution, adding another layer to the mansion’s rich history.
